Learning Center 1: Hands-on Course in Thoracic Ultrasound

The SSP offers a practical course in thoracic ultrasound together with the thorax section of the SSUM.
In pneumology, the areas of application of ultrasound have expanded greatly in recent years. This course is intended to provide a structured introduction to ultrasound and its application in the field of pneumology.

Pulmonologists, trainee pulmonologists as well as other specialists with an interest in thoracic ultrasound.

10:50 - 11:50     Hands-on: Chest wall / lung sliding & Location of pneumothorax / pleural effusions
11:50 - 12:50     Theory
12:50 - 13:45     Lunch break
13:45 - 17:50     Theory, videoclips and practical examination on patients
17:50 - 18:00     Questions & evaluation

Learning Center 4: SSSSC Workshop for the Certificate in Sleep Medicine

Wednesday, 30 March 2022,  08:00 - 12:45 CEST
This course is suitable to earn the credits necessary for the certificate of capacity in sleep medicine especially for non-psychiatrists.
The 5-hour KVT-I part is required to obtain the specialist qualification in Sleep Medicine.

Workshop topic & language

The workshop topic is “CBT-I”, cognitive behavioural therapy for Insomnia.
The workshop language will be German.
